Obituary of Peggy Diane Lockerbie

The death of Peggy Diane Lockerbie of Saint John, NB, daughter of the late Percy James and Violet Mae (Bright) Richards, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 26, 2006. Peggy was born in Saint John, NB and was a lifetime resident of the city. She was a member of St. John Baptist (Mission Church) & St. Clement. Peggy was a very caring person who enjoyed the company of others. She is survived by a son, Robert and his children, Dawson Baribault-Richards and Kaiden Baribault-Richards, both of Saint John; a daughter, Crystal (Wayne Cyr) and her son Zachary White of Saint John; six sisters, Hilda (William) Turvey, NS, Helen Richards, Saint John, Patsy (Walter) Grant, Cape Breton, NS, Evelyn Stevens and Janet (George) Wood, both of Saint John and Diane (Charles) Jones of USA; six brothers, Percy (Joyce) Richards, Saint John, Raymond (Barb) Richards, William "Billy" (Phyllis) Richards, and Peter (Linda) Richards, all of NS, Vincent (Lillian) Richards and James (Darlene) Richards, both of Saint John. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visitation on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. followed by cremation. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
