Obituary of Hazel Violet Griffin

The death of Hazel Violet Griffin, formerly of Duke Street, Saint John, wife of the late Reginald Griffin, occurred peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Born in Kingston, NB on October 1, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Ellen (Pemberton) Lewell. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
