Obituary of Mildred Louise Rossetto

The death of Mildred Louise (Machum) Rossetto, occurred on March 30, 2006, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Springfield, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richie Clarence and Mary Grace (Pollock) Bickford. She had formerly taught school and was employed with Centracare for 20 years. She was a member of Portland United Church and the Jeanette Ball Unit of the UCW. She was also a member of the Saint John Portland PC Women's Association. She is survived by her former husband Onorio Rossetto, her sons Michael G. Machum of Burlington, ON, Mark Andrew Machum and his wife Shelley of Lower Sackville, NS, William Richie Machum and his wife Brenda of Otter Lake, her special friend Carole Stuart of Quispamsis, her brothers Lawrence and his wife Betty of Carberry, MB, Don and his wife Flora of Saint John, Murray and his wife Clara of Nauwigewauk, George of Sussex, Ralph of Ottawa, her sisters Elsie Frairs of Sussex, Barbara and her husband Lee Thurrott of West Riverview, NB, her grandchildren Andrew, Kayla, Ryan and Callum and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Randolph Machum, brothers Gordon and Harry and sisters Blanche and Dorothy. Although there will not be any visiting, following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2006, at 2:00 pm, from Portland United Church. The interment will take place in the family plot at Riverbank Cemetery, Norton. Remembrances made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
