Obituary of Zita Marie Despres

The death of Zita Marie (Caissie) Despres of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Lionel Despres, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2006. Born in Rogersville, NB, she was a daughter of the late, Jude and Celina (Gallant) Caissie. Zita was a member of the French Club, Arc-en-ciel. Survived by her nine sons: Roger of California, USA, Ovila (Kathie) of Saint John, Cleo (Ruth) of Toronto, ON, Fernand, Romeo (Linda), Louis (Judy), Jean Guy, Yvon (Thora) and Ronnie (Darlene) all of Saint John; two daughter: Yvonne (John) Pelletier and Maria (James) Hart both of Saint John; four brothers and one sister, twenty-four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters: Rita and Celina, two sisters and one brother. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday from 7 ? 9 pm and Friday 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joachim's Church, Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
