Obituary of Catherine Therese Lawson

The death of Catherine “Bobby” Lawson of Saint John, wife of the late Gerald Blake Lawson, occurred on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her residence. Born in Saint John a daughter of the late Henry Owen and Catherine (MacDonald) McInerney. Survived by three sons, Owen M. of Toronto, ON, G.M. Gary (Beth) and John B. (Stephanie) both of Rothesay, NB; four daughters, Joan (Leonard) Lynch of Saint John, Barbara (Robert) Creamer of Rothesay, Charlene (Wesley) Stephen of Ancaster, ON, Lee (David) McKenna of Calgary, AB; one brother, Henry (Elizabeth) McInerney of Saint John; four sisters, Mary McInerney, Dorothy Lunney, Eleanor Record and Joan Kennedy, all of Saint John; seven grandsons, ten granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Bobby was predeceased by a brother, George; four sisters, Christine McInerney, Rita Henneberry, Marion Watts and Margery Knoll. Visitation will take place at her residence, 45 Waterview Place, Millidgeville, on Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Sunday 2-4 pm only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Trinity Church, Rockland Road, Saint John on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Hope House of Hospice Saint John.
