Obituary of Doris Eileen Moffatt

Moffatt, Doris E. ? The death of Doris Eileen (Anthony) Moffatt of Red Head, wife of the late C. Earl Moffatt, occurred on February 22, 2006 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Lesley and Olga (McGee) Anthony. Doris was a very active member of Red Head United Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by two sons: Jason (Laura) of Saint John and Donald (Heather) of Ontario; daughter, Donna (Bob) Earle of Saint John; brother, Lloyd Anthony of Sussex; sisters: Ruth Crocker of Portland, Maine, Kathleen (Norman) McGirr of Ontario and Eleanor Johnson of Saint John; seven grandchildren: Alison, Jonathan, Lisa, Stephanie, Jason, Colin and Holly; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, February 24, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to Red Head United Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
