Obituary of Donald Robert ”Robbie” Cameron

The death of Donald Robert ”Robbie” Cameron of the Admiral Beatty Complex, Saint John, occurred on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Donald Ross and Alfreda Hazel (Cathline) Cameron. Robbie owned and operated a Well Drilling Company in Saint John during the 1970's and worked in Western Canada and Northern Canada as a heavy equipment operator and blaster. Rob was a longtime resident of Hampton and East Riverside and was a member of the ADANAC Club for many years. He is survived by his friend and ex-wife, Marlen Cameron (William Watt), three daughters, Vanessa Moulton of Stayner, ON, Susan Cameron of Stayner, ON and Leidy Cameron of Cormierville, NB, six grandchildren and one sister, Heather Anne Cameron of Victoria, BC. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 7-9 PM and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
