Obituary of Clarence Raymond Maurice Sullivan

On Sunday, May 22, 2005, Clarence Raymond Maurice Sullivan of Saint John, husband of Mary L. (Carter) Sullivan went to be with his Lord and Saviour. Born in Saint John, Clarence was the son of the late Raymond B. and Anna E. (Russell) Sullivan. Clarence was a faithful worshipper at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew Church. Before his retirement, Clarence was a Machinist at Irving Dry Dock for 50½ years and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53. Clarence and Mary looked forward to their summers at Crystal Beach Trailer Park. He will be greatly missed and will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary are two daughters, Judith Beauparlant (Luc) of Edmonton, AB and Susan Carter of Saint John, sons, John (Dorothy) of Saint John, Douglas (Mireille Lanouette) of Moncton and Gregory of Saint John, brother, Frank Sullivan (Mavis) of Saint John, sisters, Teresa Thibodeau (Emile) of Richibucto, Rita Buckley of Saint John and Rosemary Shannon (Jim) also of Saint John, sisters-in-law, Mary Sullivan of Saint John, Rita Kelly of Bradford, Mass., Dorothy Munro and Ruth Durley (Dave) both of Saint John, brothers-in-law, William Munro (Shirley) and Robert Munro (Marlene) both of Saint John, nine grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, David, Adam, Richard, Bernard, Raymond, Thomas and Valerie, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Karen, brothers, Gerald and Norman and brother-in-law Bill Buckley. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew Church, 646 Westmorland Road, Saint John on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Remembrances to St. Mary and St. Bartholomew Church, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
