Obituary of S. Bertha Beyea

With broken hearts the family of S.Bertha Beyea of Quispamsis, NB announce her passing, which occurred on Friday, December 16, 2016, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bald Hill, NB on August 9, 1943, she was the wife of Jim Beyea and the daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Adams) Jones. Bertha was the best mother, mother in law and friend. She loved to bake and cook for everyone. Bertha worked at the St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home for 28 years. Bertha is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Kathleen Moore (Brian), sons; Ronnie MacKenzie, Terry MacKenzie (Rose); grandchildren; Natacha Dowe (Geoff), Telissa Radford (Chance), Trevor St. Coeur (Lizz), Bradley St. Coeur (Amanda), Chris Graves (Amanda), Jonathan MacKenzie; brother; Gerald Jones as well as by special friends; Joanne and Glen, Sue and Jack and several other grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins. Bertha was predeceased by her son, Kevin Hovey. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Bayview Cemetery at a later date.
