Obituary of Linda A. L. Doiron

Doiron, Linda Ann Laura – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda Doiron announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John on May 5, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Patterson) MacDonald. The most important part of Linda’s life was family. She loved spending time with her many siblings. Holidays were special times of year for Linda, especially the magic of Christmas and the excitement of Canada Day. She spent many summer nights camping and appreciating nature. Anyone who knew Linda, understood her great love for Tim Horton’s coffee. Linda will be missed by her siblings, Sherry MacDonald – who was also her caregiver, Bill MacDonald (Kathie), Rick MacDonald, Frank MacDonald (Linda), Kevin MacDonald (Margaret), Mike MacDonald (Cathy), Lois Evans (Dave), Esther Foote and Donna Speight (Joe); her special nephew, Jeremy MacDonald as well as many other nieces and nephews and extended family; and her dearest feline companion, Silly the cat. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Louis Melvin Doiron in 2013. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 2-8 pm. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
