Obituary of John Carl Anthony Bateman

The death of Tony Bateman occurred on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on December 20, 1958, he was a son of Amelia (LeBlanc) Bateman and the late Carl Bateman. In addition to his mother, Amelia, Tony is survived by his sisters: Theresa Cormier (Joseph), Linda Gallagher (Julian), Louise Piper (Manfred), and Rosemary Bateman (Peter); brother, Patrick; and his nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Noel, and his sister-in-law, Madeline. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, October 23 and Monday, October 24, 2016 from 2 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2 pm from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.
