Obituary of George Kaye

Kaye, George "Buddy" - It is with heavy hearts that the family of George "Buddy" Kaye announces his passing which occurred on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. He was born on January 28, 1950 to the late Robert and Isabelle (Bradly) Kaye. Buddy was a member of the Saint John Police Force for 33 years. He led a simple life and took pleasure in the smalls things, like his daily Tim Horton’s tea and coffee and workouts at the Aquatic Centre. Buddy will be missed by his son Michael Kaye, his siblings: Barbara Losier (Grant), Debbie (Clayton) Greenslade, Paul Kaye, Karen (Mike), and Dan (Valerie) Kaye, his aunt Rena DeMerchant and cousin Peter DeMerchant along with many nieces, nephews and members of his extended family. Buddy was predeceased by his parents. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Monday, December 28 from 2-4 and 6-8. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 29 at 10 am from Brenan’s Chapel with interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
