Obituary of Eric C. Muise

The death of Eric C. Muise of 21 Maple Hill Lane occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Muise was born in Saint John, the son of Elizabeth (Ellis) Muise and the late Frederick Muise. He was a steel fabricator by trade and had been employed by Saint John Shipbuilding for a number of years and was a member of Local 3 Marine and Shipbuilding Workers. He had also worked for Bourque Industrial. At the time of his most recent illness Eric had been a student at NBCC Saint John in the Pulp and Paper Process Technician course. He was pre-deceased by his father in January 2004. Besides his mother, he is survived by his devoted girlfriend of many years, Amanda Arseneau; aunts and uncles, Walter (Anna) Ellis, Barb (John) Steele, Bob (Anne Duguay) Ellis, Arlene (John) Holt, Dorothy (Rolly) Ducas, and Helen (the late Rosaire) Dumouchel; many cousins and his constant companion for the last seven months, Nellie his Saint Bernard. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Rosary will be said Thursday at 6:30 for anyone who would like to attend. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Cathedral Building Fund or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
