Obituary of Stephen Maynard Manser

It is with great shock and sadness the family announces the passing of Stephen Manser at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on October 29, 1956 and was the husband of the late Cathy Ryan and the son of the late Charles and Ruby (Trefry) Manser. Steve was an active member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 39 and was an avid pool player. Steve was the loving father to: Melissa Ronayne (Troy) of Evansburg, AB; Sean Manser of Kingston, ON; and Troy Manser of Edmonton, AB. Also survived by nine brothers and one sister: Murray (Lyn) Manser, Wayne (Marina) Manser, Bruce Manser, Cory (Sue) Manser, Debi (Ken) Sponagle, Andy Manser, Tony Manser, Chris (Faye) Manser, Curtis Manser all of Yarmouth, NS and Craig (Irene) Manser of Dartmouth. Steve enjoyed the company of his dog Bailey. Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB with visiting Sunday, June 22, 2014, 2-6PM and Monday, June 23, 2014 2-6PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 10:00AM, followed by cremation and interment at a later date.
