Obituary of Edward John Gould

Gould, Edward J. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Edward John Gould of Saint John, NB, which occurred on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 9, 1935 in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Frozel) Gould. He was employed with Gandy and Allison and as a labourer in the construction field. He enjoyed woodworking and building things. He is survived by two sons, Edward Gould and his three children, Gordon Gould; one daughter, Mariann Sullivan; brothers, Harold Gould (Sandra) and Ronald Gould (Alice); sisters, Eva Titus, Catherine Davis, Patricia Tower (Donald) and Barbara O’Brien (Mike); grandchildren, Troy Gould, Sandi Baidoo and her three sons; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2014 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 12:10 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
