Obituary of Delmar Amirault

Amirault Delmar Joseph “Joe” – The death of Joe Amirault, husband of the late Veronica Amirault (O’Sullivan) occurred on Thursday November 28, 2013 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing. He was born in Pubnico, Nova Scotia and was a son of the late Andre and Marie Amirault. Joe was an Airforce Veteran of WW11 who served overseas in France, England and Belgium. He retired after serving twenty one years with the RCAF. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time exploring the back roads in his four wheel drive. Joe is survived by his daughter, Elaine Amirault; two grandchildren, Joey and Veronica and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by brothers, Murray and Edmund and two sisters, Willetta and Theresa. Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street (634-1965) with visiting on Sunday December 1, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday December 2, 2013 at 12:10pm followed by cremation.
