Obituary of Curtis Doiron

<p>Doiron, Curtis Scott &ndash; The death of Curtis Doiron occurred at his residence on Monday, September 9, 2013. He was born in Loretteville, Quebec on November 20, 1979 but spent the greater part of his life in Saint John. In his younger years, Curtis was a member of RCSCC Rodney and retired as a CPO2, Chief Petty Officer Second Class. He played the trumpet in the Sea Cadets Band and was proud to be the drum major for three years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and was fond of animals. He is survived by his parents, Jean Marie and Cecilia (Brooks) Doiron; two sisters, Cynthia (Peter) Davis, Christina (Cameron) Ellis and one brother, Christopher Doiron; maternal grandmother, Helen Brooks; several nieces and nephews, Carol, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas, Fiona and Gwendolyn as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his infant sister, Cheryl Dawn; maternal grandparent, Cecil Brooks; paternal grandparents, Domineque and Alice Doiron. Following cremation, visitation will take place on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception. Internment will take place in Ocean View Cemetery at a later date.
