Obituary of Marjorie Adele Rommell

Marjorie Adele Rommell died in Saint John on August 7, 2004. Born Marjorie Hubley, May 2, 1921, in Halifax, N.S., daughter of the late Jean and Roy Hubley. Pre-deceased by her loving husband, Stuart Delong Rommell August 30, 1991. Survived by one sister, Audrey Mullenger of Halifax, one son, David, his wife Florence of Thunder Bay, Ont., granddaughters Sara and Rebecca, and great-grandson Brandon, all of Thunder Bay. Also survived by one daughter Jane, her husband Sydney Furrow of Houston, Texas grandson Brent, his wife Danielle of Orlando, Fla, grandson Scott, his wife Shannon of Boston, Mass., grandson Craig, granddaughter Brittany at home in Houston, several nieces and nephews in various parts of Canada; in-laws Evelyn of Orillia, Ont., and Don and Jean Furrow of Saint john. Marjorie was employed for many years in the office of Canadian Tire, acting as Office Manager for several of those years. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Anglican Church Women, and Silver Threads Senior Citizen club. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Marjorie is remembered by family and friends for her courage, tenacity, and her joy for living. The family request any donations by made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
