Obituary of Clinton David Buckley
<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Clinton David Buckley of Saint John. Surrounded by his family, Clint died on Monday August 20, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John and was the son of the late Leo and Margaret (McNaught) Buckley. Clint was the owner/operator of Buckley’s Grocery in Latimore Lake and employed as a bartender for many years and most recently at the Iceberg Pub. He is survived by his chosen family, sister-in-law; Phyllis Buckley, one niece; Gayle Buckley one nephew; Brian Buckley, sister; Agnes O’Donnell as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Audrey Mason, brothers; John, Robert "Buck", Gerald "Gerry" and James "Ukie" Buckley, brother-in-law, Ernest O’Donnell, as well as his best friend Jimmy Beman.</p> <p><br /> Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965) with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, would be appreciated.</p>
