Obituary of Sister Dorothy M. Robichaud

ROBICHAUD-the death of Sister Dorothy M. Robichaud (Sr. Marguerita) occurred at Ruth Ross Residence on Saturday, June 26, 2004. Sister was born in Rexton, a daugther of the late Antoine and Mary (Clark) Robichaud. Sister Dorothy entered the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, 1936. Sister served at the Infants' Home, Saint John; St. Patrick's Orphanage, Silver Falls; and St. Patrick's Orphanage, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Sister had also served at the Mater Misericordiae Home in Saint John and Mary's Home in Moncton. Sister later served in pastoral care at St. Joseph's Hospital and Centracare in Saint John. She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Leonard, George, Clarence, and William Robichaud; and four sisters, Miss Doreen Robichaud, Mrs. Myrtle Sawyer, Sister Evangeline Robichaud, S.C.I.C., and Mrs. Elizabeth Richard. Sister is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grace Higgins (George) of Saint John, and Mrs. Alice Roberts (Lawrence) of River John, N.S.; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Ruth Ross Residence, Burpee Ave. with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ruth Ross Chapel on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in the Sisters of Charity Plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Solemn Vespers will be held on Sunday evening at seven o'clock.
