Obituary of Charles Paschal

The death of Charles “Charlie” Paschal of Kennebec Manor, husband of the late, Ada G. (Merzetti, Jamieson) Paschal, occurred at the Kennebec Manor on Monday, March 26, 2012. Charlie was born on December 10, 1927 in Saint John, NB. He was a son of Henry and Grace Marion (MacKenzie) Paschal of Crafts Cove, Queens Co. NB. He travelled and worked in various cities and jobs across Canada. He is survived by one brother, Earl W. of Thunder Bay, ON. And one sister, Marion McCausland of Sutton, ON, two step-daughters; Betty Fudge (David) and Deborah Jamieson (Raymond Ouellet), one daughter-in-law; Linda Jamieson of Levack, ON, sisters-in-law; Dorothy O’Reilly, Louise Merzetti and Ellen Tucker, brothers-in-law; Paul Merzetti (Barbara) and Robert Merzetti (JoAnne) of Saint John. Besides his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his brother, Goldwin James Paschal, brother-in-law, John McCausland of Sutton, ON, and one step-son, John (Jamie) Jamieson. Grampy leaves behind seven grandchildren, Robert Fudge (Kim), Jacqueline Gagnon (Roland), Chris Lee (Cara), Heather Robia (Ken), Suzanne Jeffries (Chris), Andrew Jamieson (Tammy), and Craig Jamieson, along with thirteen great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Fudge, Kathleen and Emma Gagnon, Joshua and Makayla Lee, Molly and Sophie Robia, Nicholas and Harley Jeffries and John, Karly and April Jamieson, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John (634-1965), with visiting on Wednesday, March 28th at 10:00 AM, with the Funeral Liturgy being celebrated at 12:00 PM from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Romero House or to Kennebec Manor Bus Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
