Obituary of Constance L. Barry

<p><strong>Constance L. (Connie) Barry, </strong>of 20 Prince Edward Street, Saint John, NB died on November 16, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Connie was born on August 19<sup>th</sup>, 1922, the seventh of twelve children of the late Judge John A. Barry and Julia (Wilson) Barry.&nbsp; Connie graduated from St. Vincent&rsquo;s Girls High School in 1939 and from Saint John Vocational School in 1940.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a Legal Assistant for her brother, the late Honourable J. Paul Barry, Q.C., for the late Mr. Justice Henry E. Ryan and her eldest nephew John P. Barry, Q.C.</p> <p>She is survived by her twin sister, Geraldine C. (Ger) Barry, of Saint John;&nbsp; Patrick G. (Eleanor) Barry, of Westwood, Massachusetts and Malcolm&nbsp; A. (Frances) Barry of Quispamsis, 55 nieces and nephews, 133 grand-nieces and grand-nephews and numerous great grand-nieces and great grand-nephews.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was predeceased by her parents, her three sisters Mary A. O&rsquo;Reilly, Joan H. Murphy, J. Eileen Duerr;&nbsp; five brothers the Honourable J. Paul Barry, Q.C., J. William Barry,&nbsp; John A. (Jack) Barry, Peter J. Barry, James Barry and a nephew Graeme Barry.</p> <p>She was a member of the St. Vincent&rsquo;s Girls Alumni, the Catholic Women&rsquo;s League, the Saint John Irish Cultural Association, Saint John Regional Hospital Auxiliary, St. Joseph&rsquo;s Hospital Auxiliary and Rocmaura Auxiliary.</p> <p>Resting at Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB., with visiting on Friday, November 18<sup>th</sup> between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m..&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick&rsquo;s Funeral Home and Reid&rsquo;s Funeral Home.&nbsp;&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Waterloo Street, Saint John at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19<sup>th</sup>.&nbsp; A reception will follow the funeral at the Union Club, 125 Germain Street in Saint John.&nbsp; Interment will take place in the family plot at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Cemetery, Westmorland Road in Saint John.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Judge John A. and Julia P.
