Obituary of Marguerite M. Babineau

The death of Marguerite M. Babineau of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, N.B., occurred at her residence on Saturday, May 22, 2004. Mrs. Babineau was born in Ste. Anne de Kent, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She had operated a rooming house at 174 Sydney St., Saint John, for over 25 years and had been a member of St. John the Baptist and the Cathedral parishes. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Theodore Robichaud; her second husband, Albert Babineau; a daughter, Gloria Tanner; a grandson, Scott Gordon; two brothers, Peter and Ben LeBlanc; and two sisters, Marie LeBlanc and Delia Cormier. She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Gordon (Maurice), and Nora Ulmanis (Lou), both of Quispamsis; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault, Dieppe, N.B., on Sunday from 11 A.m. to 3 P.M. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at 10:30. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
