Obituary of Wayne R. Voutour
VOUTOUR, WAYNE R.-the death of Wayne R. Voutour of Red Head Rd. occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Wayne was born in Saint John on Oct 3, 1954, a son of the late Raymond J. and Palma (McLeod) Voutour. He had been employed as a fork-lift operator with Saint John Shipbuilding until his retirement due to an accident. He was a former president of the Loyalist City Wheel Chair Association. He always had time for family and friends and loved family gatherings. He was a well known dancer and had won dancing competitions. He enjoyed playing cards and Jeopardy. He is survived by two brothers, Kevin (Wendi Landry) and Brian (Vicky), both of Saint John; three sisters, Palmyer (Claude) Arsenault of Cape Cod, Mass., Delores Voutour of Saint John, and Lynn (Rick)Wills Voutour of Balmertown, Ont.; his special care-giver, Kevin Haevens; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Monday morning at ten o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. www.fitzpatrickfh.com
