Obituary of Dorothy H. Hebert

HEBERT-the death of Dorothy H. Hebert, widow of Douglas J. Hebert, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, February 4, 2010. Dorothy was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late William and Mary (McDevitt) Harding. She had been employed at New System Laundry and at the Villa Madonna Retreat House. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League, the Legion of Mary, and the Irish Canadian Cultural Association. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sister Mary Harding, S.O.S., and Ann Hachey. She is survived by two nieces, Cathy Holmes and Ann Marie Hachey, both of Saint John; two grandnieces, Dawn MacBurnie (Terry and Colin) of Saint John, and Debbie Pethick (Tom, Aiden, and Adison) of Barrie, Ont.; dear friends Hilda and Bill Noel of Saint John; and several cousins. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Monday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
