Obituary of F. Jean Valardo

VALARDO-the death of F. Jean Valardo of 46 Cliff St., widow of Matthews E. Valardo, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Mrs. Valardo was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Walter and Maud (Hurley) Cooper. She is survived by two sons, Patrick (Carey) and Brian (Michelle), both of Saint John; one brother, David Cooper of Saint John; two grandchildren, Vienna and Evangelia; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday afternoon at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
