Obituary of Arthur Murray

MURRAY-the death of Arthur "Bud" Murray, husband of Teresa (Cripps) Murray, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2010. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Henry and Edith (Burns) Murray, He had founded Murray-Spenser & Co. Ltd. in 1968. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Daniel (Suzanne) of Saint John; one brother, Lawrence (Margaret) of Long Island, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home. At the family's request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay, at 12 noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
