Obituary of Alberta E. Buckley

BUCKLEY-the death of Alberta E. Buckley of 106 Dexter Drive, wife of Ervine J. Buckley (54 years), occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 2, 2010. Mrs. Buckley was born in Grand Falls, N.B., a daughter of the late Vincent and Juliette (Rouleau) Butler. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Gerard Butler. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Paul (Sue) of Saint John, Brian (Heather) of Truro, and Michael of Saint John; three daughters, Jane Buckley of Fredericton, Lynn (Tom) Page of Bedford, N.S., and Christine (Ed) Pipes of Amherst, N.S.; six brothers, Raymond (Shirley) Butler of Saint John, James (Nancy) Butler of Chapel Grove, Peter (Mary) Butler of Moncton, Joe (Sandra) Butler of Cambridge-Narrows, Adrian Butler of Black's Harbour, and Michael (Rose Eva) Butler of Kingston, N.B.; one sister, Sister Pauline Butler, A.G.S., of Rawdon, Quebec; a sister-in-law, Dawn Butler of Saint John; one aunt, Rose McLaughlin of Saint John; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Paula, Stephen, Elliot, Max, Tess, Austin, Jason, Andrew, and Logan; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. The famil would like to express their special tanks to the nurses and staff of the Dilysis Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital.
