Obituary of Angel Geneva Sherwood

SHERWOOD - The death of Angel "Ann" Geneva Sherwood, of 33 Smythe St, widow of the late Lawrence A. Sherwood occurred on Sunday December 13, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Amirault's Hill, Nova Scotia, Angel was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hubbard) Muise. In her earlier years she had been employed for many years as a waitress at the Admiral Beatty Hotel, she was also a long time member of the Cathedral C.W.L. She is survived by three sons, Leslie (Elsie) Sherwood, of Penobsquis, Gregory Sherwood, of Treherne, Manitoba, Jeffrey (Andrea) Sherwood, of Renforth, and one daughter, Suellen Ann Sherwood, of Saint John, three grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Sherwood, Jenna Sherwood, and Kaley Sherwood, and one great grand son Mark Anthony Sherwood, all of Saint John, several nieces and nephew. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the funeral will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2009, to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o'clock. Visiting on Monday evening 7 to 9 pm, and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
