Obituary of Laura P. L. Russell

RUSSELL-it is with great sadness that the family of Laura P. L. Russell of 180 Daniel Ave. announces her death at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2009. Laura was born in Saint John on Oct. 12, 1982, a daughter of Robert McL. and Helen T. (Wilson) Russell. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, David and Audrey Russell; her maternal grandfather, Arthur Wilson; an aunt, Sandy Russell; and a cousin, John Wilson. Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Katherine Ann "Katie" Russell (Jonathan Haines) of Quispamsis; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Wilson of Saint John; a niece, Sadie Ann Haines; and several aunts, uncles, and special friends, the McGrath and Comeau families. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations Rett Syndrome Association (www.rettsyndrome.org) would be appreciated.
