Obituary of George William Gray

Gray-the death of George William Gray of Saint John, N.B., husband of Verna K.( Bastarache) Gray, occurred on Friday, August 21, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. George was born in Saint John, a son of Marie M. Cyr and the late Frederick D. Gray. George was employed with Ocean Steel as a crane operator for the past 35 years. Besides his wife Verna and mother Marie he is survived by sons Andrew of Saint John, and James (Ferne) of Halifax, N.S., brothers James, Stephen, David, and Brian, sister Judy Gray all of Saint John, grand-daughter Grace Gray of Grand Manan, and nephews Clayton, Justin, Jared, and Shawn. He was predeceased by brothers Robert, and John, sisters Wendy and Brenda. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St.,with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 pm., and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 11:00 am. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
