Obituary of Mary Alberta Extell

The death of Mary Alberta Extell of 79 Summer St. occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, following a brief illness. Mary was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late William and Robina (Ducey) Extell, and had been employed with Key Industries. She is survived by three brothers, Allen (Nancy) Extell of Quispamsis, John (Linda) Butler of Saint John, and Michael Extell of Saint John; two sisters, Margaret (Harold) Chandler, and Rita Watson, both of Saint John; her companion, Murray Cruthers; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
