Obituary of Mary J. Dolan

DOLAN- the death of Miss Mary J. Dolan occurred at her residence, 300 Boars Head Rd., on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Miss Dolan was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Peter and Julia (Donahue) Dolan. Following graduation from St. Vincent's Girls High Shool, she was employed as treasurer of Crosby Molasses Co. Ltd. until her retirement a number of years ago. She was predeceased by her sister, Carmelita Dolan, in 1986. She was a member of St. Vincent's Alumnae Association, the Catholic Women's League, St. Josephs Hospital Auxillary, and the Scarborough Foreign Missions. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday at 12:05 P.M. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
