Obituary of R. Margaret Quinn

The death of Mrs. R. Margaret Quinn of 442 Mansfield St., widow of J. Gregory Quinn, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, January 12, 2004. Mrs. Quinn was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Duffy) Haggerty. She was a former member of the Catholic Women's League, the West Side Ruby's Seniors Club; and the Legion of Mary. She had been an avid card player. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Katherine and Thelma Haggerty and Dorothy King. She is survived by two sons, J. Kerry (Isabel) of Johnson River, P.E.I., and Brian G. (Rosemarie) of Saint John; one daughter, Mary K. Quinn of Saint John; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of the Assumption Church Building Fund or St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
