Obituary of Stella G. Power-Moore

POWER-MOORE-the death of Stella G. Power-Moore occurred at Loch Lomond Villa on Sunday, March 9, 2008. Stella was born in Yarmouth, N.S., a daughter of the late John and Ethel May (Abric) Dalton, and had resided in Saint John since 1946. She was predeceased by her first husband, John "Buddie" Power, in 1969, and her second husband, Barry Moore, in 1997. She was also predeceased by four brothers, John, Bernard, Angus, and William; and five sisters, Alice, Muriel, Shirley, Grace, and Pauline. She is survived by three sons, Gary Power and Michael (Paula) Power, both of Saint John, and Daniel (Karen) Power of Ottawa; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated.
