Obituary of Sarah R. Whytewood

WHYTEWOOD-the death of Sarah R. "Sadie" Whytewood of Central Greenwich, and formerly of Heatherway, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Sadie was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Leatherborrow) Ougler. She had been employed in the Housekeeping Dept. of St. Joseph';s Hospital for 33 years until her retirement in 1985. She is survived by three daughters, Margaret Alice Andrews (Charles) of Saint John, Nancy Gormley of Chance Harbour, and Bonnie Carson (Hazen) of Central Greenwich; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday morning from ten o'clock until 11:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday afternoon at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
