Obituary of Anne Marie P. OBrien

O'BRIEN-the death of Anne Marie P. O'Brien of Loch Lomond Villa, widow of Frederick J. O'Brien, occurred at her residence on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Mrs. O'Brien was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late John M. and Cathleen I. (Flood) Fitzpatrick.She was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Women's League for over fifty years and was a Past President. She was also a member of St. Joseph's Hospital Auxillary and Rocmaura Auxillary.She is survived by three sons, Terry of Quebec, and John (Sylvia) and Kevin, both of Saint John; five daughters, Beth Farrer (Daniel) of Gibbons, Al., Colleen Johnston (Gary) of Saint John, Maureen DeLucry (Paul) of Fredericton, Aileen Cyr (John) of Saint John, and Elizabeth O'Brien of Saint John; three brothers, Brian (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Saint John, Patrick (Helen) Fitzpatrick of Winnipeg, and Francis (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Halifax; 12 grandchildren, Shiann, Freddy, Keith, Lisa, Jason, Tiffany, Matthew, Adam, Colin, Jessica, Corey, and Shanna; nine great-grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron, Dustin, Jystiss, Tristan, Kilee, Kenzie, Shane, and Makahia; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
