Obituary of Margaret M. Andeson

ANDERSON-the death of Margaret M. Anderson, wife of Harold M. Anderson, occurred at St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Mrs. Anderson was born in Newcastle, a daughter of the late Francis and Julia (Palmer) Major, and had resided in Saint John for over 61 years.She had been employed at the York Cotton Mill and as a homemaker with the Red Cross. She had been a member of Buffalo Ladies Glade #1 and the Seniors Bowling League. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Joanne Marie Hannah (Ron) of Burlington, Ont., Judith "Judy" Juliano (Mike) of Saint John, and Barbara Ann Anson (David) of Saint John; one adopted brother, Francis Major of Fredericton; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
