Obituary of Anne E. Hachey

HACHEY-the death of Ann E. Hachey of 92 Bon Accord Drive, widow of William F. Hachey, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, August 31, 2007. Mrs. Hachey was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late William J. and Mary E. (McDevitt) Harding.She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Girls High School and Mount Carmel Academy. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Women's League and had been active in the Special Olympics. She was predeceased by a son, Billy Hachey; and a sister, Sister Mary Harding of the Sisters of Service. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Holmes and Ann Marie Hachey, both of Saint John; one sister, Dorothy Hebert of Saint John; two granddaughters, Dawn MacBurnie of Saint John, and a Debbie Pethick (Tom) of Barrie, Ont.; and four great-grandchildren, Terry and Colin MacBurnie, and Aiden and Adisen Pethick. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church on Tuesday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
