Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Nutter

NUTTER-the death of Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Nutter, widow of George Harry Nutter, occurred at the Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, N.S., on May 7, 2007. Mrs. Nutter was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Vincent and Rose (McGuiggan) Shea, and grew up on Rockland Rd. and attended Holy Trinity and St. Vincent's Girls High School. She was employed with the Bank of Nova Scotia Charlotte St. from 1941 until her marriage in 1951. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Kevin; her sister, Connie Shea; and her brother, Kevin Shea. She is survived by her daughter, Rose (Kevin) Spicer of Kentville; her sons, Ernest (Lyndsay) Nutter of Toronto, and Larry Nutter of Dartmouth; her sisters, Helen Crowley of Rothesay, and Natalie (Dr. George) Battcock of St. John's; and her grandchildren, Bridget and Michael Spicer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Rothesay, on Monday afternoon, August 27, 2007, at two o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
