Obituary of Ann Sarah Theresa Harrity

Harrity-the death of Ann Sarah Theresa Harrity, of Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home, formerly of Chateau de Champlain, widow of the late William Patrick Harrity occurred on Saturday June 23, 2007, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Lucy (Ward) Richard. Ann worked as a office clerk for Saint John General Hospital, the Kwik-Pik, and Canadian Tire where she retired in 1978. She was a member of St.Ann's Ladies Society, St.Ann's Church Choir, St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary, and Past President of the Glen Falls Gems Senior Club. She is survived by two sons Ernest Harrity (Helen) of Red Head, William "Bill" Harrity (Val) of Beaverbank, NS, four daughters Joanne Harrity of Saint John, Katherine Harrity (Bruce) of Edmonton, AB, Debbie Stanton (Glenn) of Saint John, and Patricia Cox (Robert) of Saint John, fifteen Grandchildren Emmanuel, Emily, Amanda, Barney, Ben, Carrie, Chris, Danny, Jamie, Kayla, Kyle, Carey, Ruth, Jon, and Andy, seven Great Grandchildren Eve, Violet, Zoe, Spencer, Sarah, Leah, and Jack, several nieces and nephews. She was Pre-deceased by a daughter Martina Rose, sisters Mary and Florence, brothers Joe and Bill, and infant Grandson Ryan Douglas. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street, with visiting hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from the Assumption Church on Thursday June 28, 2007, at twelve o'clock. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
