Obituary of Dorothy Fairweather

Fairweather-the death of Dorothy "Dolly" Fairweather, of Douglas Ave., wife of the late Thomas W. J. Fairweather, occurred on Friday June 8,2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Stephenville, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Florence(Gaudet) Barry. Dorothy was pre-deceased by a son Thomas Jr., companion Ron McLeod, Brothers Percy, Roy, and Robert, Sisters Mercedes Sanipas, Lillian Harley, Geraldine McElwaine, and Doreen Trail. She is survived by a son Patrick (Roxanne) of Saint John, Daughters Dorothy (Gene) Pyne, Jean (John) Shalala, Barbara (Ted) Hick, Marilyn Mitton, and Kathy Grainge, all of Niagara Falls, ON, Brothers Joseph Barry (Rita), and Arthur Barry (Barbara) all of Saint John, 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and the many friends at 500 Douglas Ave., and throughout the City. Resting at fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., from where the service will be held on Monday June 11, 2007, at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am. Visiting Hours will be on Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment to take place in St. Josephs Cemetery.
