Obituary of Paul D. Peters

PETERS-the death of Paul D. Peters of 14 King Square South occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, April 20, 2007. Paul was born in Saint John, a son of the late Dominic and Mary (Mitchell) Peters. He was retired from the Admiral Beatty Hotel where he was employed for many years as an accountant. He was an avid reader and well informed in many areas. Despite the difficulty in communicating with Paul due to his inability to hear at any level, it was well worth the effort. Throughout his life he was a quiet supporter of a number of charities. He was predeceased by three brothers, Peter, Thomas, and John Peters; and a sister, Sadie Boyle. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Doris Peters, and a niece, Dianne Peters, both of Shediac; and two nephews, Andrew Peters of Gander, Nfld., and Daniel Peters of St. Jerome, Quebec. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday morning at 10:30. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
