Obituary of Catherine M. McCarthy

McCARTHY-the death of Catherine M. McCarthy of 791 Cumberland Rd., Passekeag, widow of James L. McCarthy, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 15, 2007. Mrs. McCarthy was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Fred and Vera (Cusack) Carvell. She is survived by one son, James L. (Suzanne) of Quispamsis; two daughters, Elizabeth James (Denny),and Linda Bonnell (Peter), both of Passekeag; two brothers, Frank Carvell, and George Carvell, both of Saint John; two sisters, Betty Douglas (George), and Doreen Holt, both of Saint John; five grandchildren, Catherine and Cynthia McCarthy, Ann Kerr, David McGrath, and Krista Stackhouse (Chris); five great-grandchildren, Justice, Donny, Adam, Gerod, and Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday March 19, 2007, at twelve o'clock.
