Obituary of Thomas L. Morrisey

The death of Thomas L. Morrisey of 15 Gregory Place, husband of the late Margaret Mary (Johnson) Morrisey, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Mr. Morrisey was born in Saint John, a son of the late Thomas L. and Laura (Aide) Morrisey. He had been employed with the Treasury Dept. for 26 years until his retirement in 1977. He served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War. He is survived by two sons, J. Daniel G. (Lorraine) of Ottawa, and J. Thomas (Nicole) of Lakeview, N.S.; two daughters, Marjorie Jensen of New York, and Joanne Skinner (Richard) of Coldbrook, Kings Co., N.S.; one sister, Margaret Morrisey of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday evening from 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
