Obituary of Helen T. E. McDade

Helen T. E. McDade of 340 Beaconsfield Cres., widow of John L. McDade, passed away after a brief illness peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 20, 2006. Helen was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Harry and Helen (McDonald) McGinnis.She was a member of the Legion of Mary and a long standing member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish. She is survived by two sons, John D. (Michele), and Gregory L. (Susan), both of Saint John; one daughter, Mary Delaney (Brian) of Saint John; one brother, Gregory J. McGinnis of Saint John. She was a loving Grammie to her five grandchildren, Thomas, Caroline, Elizabeth, Michael, and William Delaney; and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by Mary and Brian's dog, Clarence. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the Saint John Animal Rescue League or the Westside Foodbank would be appreciated.
