Obituary of John F. Robertson

ROBERTSON-the death of John F. Robertson formerly of Martinon, husband of Flora 'Tootie' (MacDonald) Robertson, occurred at Ridgewood Veterans' Wing on Friday, July 29, 2005. Mr. Robertson was born in Saint John, a son of the late John and Lily (Armstrong) Robertson. He had been employed with McKeen Lumber Co. and then with Canada Manpower as a counselor until his retirement in 1985. He had served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Heather Flinn (Eugene) of Fredericton, and Anne Belding (John) of Saint John; two grandsons, Johnny Flinn and Robert Belding. Following cremation, graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
