Obituary of Constance Mary Brown

The death of Miss Constance Mary Brown of Prince Edward Square occurred on Monday, July 11, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Marie (Foley) Brown and George William Brown. Miss Brown had been an executive secretary at the Bank of Nova Scotia and an active volunteer for St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation for many years. Miss Brown is survived by three brothers; John (Lois) Brown, Michael (Mary) Brown, and Patrick Brown, all of Saint John, four sisters; Rhona, Mrs. Harvey Yorke of Montreal, Mary, Mrs. Robert McGrath of Brockville, Ont., Margaret, Mrs. Robert McGarrity of Peterborough, and Miss Olive Brown of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Betty Brown, Eileen Christiansen, and brother William Brown. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, from where visiting will take place on Wednesday from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
