Obituary of Edward J. Chaisson

The death of Edward J. Chaisson of 146 Metcalf St. occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2005. Mr. Chaisson was born in Saint John, a son of the late Amos and Marie (LeBlanc) Chaisson, and had been employed as a building contractor until his retirement. He was a member of the Lancaster Lions Club. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Anita McCaskill. He is survived by two sons, Stewart T. (Christine) and Peter E., both of Saint John; one daughter, Marion A. Morrison (Michael) of Sydney, N.S.; two brothers, Fred (Betty) and Louis, both of Saint John; six sisters, Cecilia Marr, Rita Doucette, and Emma Titus, all of Saint John, Sylvia Harris of British Columbia, Margaret McCormick (David) of Pembroke, Ont., and Theresa Chaisson of Halifax; five grandchildren, Nicholle and Michael Morrison, Jordan Hill, and Madison and Jacob Chaisson; his special friend, Helen Hughson; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Monday morning at eleven o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
