Obituary of Joseph Bernard Howard Boucher

The death of Mr. Joseph Bernard Howard Boucher, husband of the late Marjorie Louise (Lawton) Boucher of Loch Lomond Villa and formerly of Black River Road, occurred on May 13, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henry and Frances (Roy) Boucher. Mr. Boucher had been a plumber with James E. Lawton Plumbing. He had served with the Infantry, Royal Canadian Regiment in Korea and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Korean Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Korean War Medal. He was also a member of the Jervis Bay R.C.L. Br. #53 and the Korean Veteran's Association. Mr. Boucher had a great love of hunting and fishing, and had a great sense of humour. He was always generous and kind to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by loving companion Stella, two sons; Richard (Paryse Morin) Boucher and Michael (Sharon) Boucher and one daughter; Dale (Tim) Wilkes all of Saint John, two brothers; Lawrence (Violet) Boucher and Maynard (Edna) Boucher, all of Bathurst, three sisters; Roberta Vienneau of Saint John, Alva Kelly of Campbellton, and Kitty (Reggie) Blanchard of British Columbia, five grandchildren; Shawn, Katrina, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Chris, a two great-grandchildren; Adam and Max, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Donald, Freeman, and Jarvis, and three sisters Doris, Irene, and Francetta. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St. with visiting on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 1p.m. from Fitzpatrick's Chapel.
